The Susan Komen race for the cure event in Newport Beach Sept 23th, 2012

Every person affected by breast cancer begins a journey. Ford Warriors in Pink helps support that journey. Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley

Tuttle-Click Automotive Group raised over $50,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley two years in a row at the Annual Tuttle-Click Golf Tournament’s held in September of 2011 and 2012!

The tournament hosted more than 144 golfers at El Niguel Country Club including ten 1st Battalion 111 Marines sponsored to play. The one-day event featured 18 holes of golf, on-course lunch, dinner and awards, as well as hole-in-one opportunities to win a Ford Explorer, Jeep Cherokee, Hyundai Sonata, and Toyota Scion. Special guests in attendance included Henry Ford III and MLB baseball star, Bobby Grich. Proceeds from the event benefit youth ages 7-18 who attend the Clubs and support activities that promote and develop literacy, self-confidence, sportsmanship, leadership and character-building.

San Clemente Ocean Festival July 16-17, 2011

The San Clemente Ocean Festival is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and support of ocean safety, the environment and the community by providing a quality athletic, cultural and enjoyable family event.

Surfers Healing

Surfers Healing was founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz. Their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed with autism at age three. Like many autistic children, he often suffered from sensory overload-- simple sensations could overwhelm him. The ocean was the one place where he seemed to find respite.

A former competitive surfer, Israel hit upon an idea--with Isaiah on the front of his surfboard, and Izzy steering from the back, the two spent the day surfing together. Surfing had a profound impact on Isaiah. Israel and Danielle decided they wanted to share this unique therapy with other autistic children. They began to host day camps at the beach where autistic children and their families could be exposed to a completely new experience of surfing.

Capistrano Ford has been a part of Surfers Healing for several years. We pride ourselves on being involved with such a meaningful program that puts efforts to such a great cause.
