Cruise into Local Dealerships for Safety Check

According to Ford, almost 8,000 2017 Ford Super Duty trucks must be examined, and a fuel tank strap reinforcement must be installed as a safety precaution against possible fuel leaks.

Vehicles being monitored include some cars produced from Aug. 10, 2016, to Sept. 17, 2016, at Kentucky Truck Plant.

What you Should do if you Recently Bought a Super Duty Truck

If your car doesn’t have a fuel tank strap reinforcement, we will install one for you, and you will not be charged. If you do not have one, the device could fall out of place, and onto the ground. If this happens, it may cause a potential fuel leak. If it’s near an ignition source, it could significantly escalate the likelihood of starting a fire. However, Ford has not heard of any accidents linked to this problem.
