Ford Upgrades Mustang Mach-E Performance Ahead of Launch
Orders are now open for the all-new, all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E, and those who had reserved their own Mustang Mach-E can now convert those reservations into official orders. Ford has also revised its previous performance estimates and is now promising even more horsepower and torque across the range of Mustang Mach-E models.
“We remain dedicated to delivering on the promise of the Mustang name,” said Ron Heiser, chief program engineer for the Mustang Mach-E. “These better-than-estimated performance figures show that our team is squeezing every last bit of performance out of this vehicle so that it not only delivers Mustang style but Mustang soul as well.”
For those who want the details, here are the new performance figures:
Extended-range all-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E – 346 hp and 428 lb./ft. of torque
Extended-range rear-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E – 290 hp and 317 lb./ft. of torque
Standard-range all-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E – 266 hp and 428 lb./ft. of torque
